What this ATS resume checker looks at

Every requirement in the posting
We list what the job asks for and mark each requirement matched, partial or missing. A match always quotes the line in your resume that shows it, so you can check it yourself.
Whether software can read your resume
Can a parser find your name, contact details, and the title, employer and dates of every role? Standard headings, one column and real text all count.
What a recruiter sees in a quick skim
Your current role and strongest evidence near the top of page one, specific bullets with numbers or outcomes, and dates that agree everywhere.
What it never does
It never invents a keyword or a skill. A missing requirement stays missing until you tell us it's true for you.

Every weight behind both scores is published. See how scoring works.

Questions people ask

Is this ATS resume checker really free?
Yes. Your first analysis needs no account, and with a free account the score and gap questions stay free. 1 credit tailors one job application: tailored resume, cover letter, interview prep and PDF/Word downloads. Your first application is free.
What's the difference between the ATS score and the recruiter score?
The ATS score is how well screening software can read your file and match it to the posting: requirement coverage, extraction, parse safety, and title and vocabulary. The recruiter score is what a person takes from a quick skim: what's in the top third, how specific your bullets are, how easy the page is to scan and whether the dates agree.
Which files can I upload?
A PDF, a Word document (.docx), or a plain-text or Markdown file. You can also paste the text of your resume.
Is my resume kept private?
Your resume is used to analyse and tailor it for you, and your personal information is never sold. If you delete your account, your resumes and tailored versions are deleted within 30 days. The privacy policy explains what's stored, for how long, and who processes it.
