Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and authentication data through email and password or Google sign-in. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information permitted by your Google account settings.

Resume and job description content: To provide the core tailoring service, we collect and process the resume content you upload or paste and the job description text you provide. This may include your employment history, education, skills, and other career-related personal information you choose to include.

Payment information: Subscription and credit-pack purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. We retain records of your subscription status, plan, and transaction history for billing and support purposes.

Usage data: We may automatically collect information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and actions taken, including tailoring sessions and exports.

Cookies: We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as dark mode, and understand how the Service is used.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain Resumeize, including tailored resumes and cover letters
• Process payments and manage subscriptions and credits
• Send transactional emails, including account confirmation, password reset, and billing receipts
• Respond to support requests
• Improve and monitor the performance and reliability of the Service
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service
• Comply with legal obligations

To analyze and tailor your resume, the resume content and job description you provide are sent securely to a third-party AI language model provider. This processing is used to generate your analysis, scores, and tailored content. AI providers may retain API inputs for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring according to their applicable service terms.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers that help us operate the Service, including our hosting and database infrastructure, Stripe for payments, and AI processing providers
• Legal authorities when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
• A successor entity in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law

We retain your account information and resume and tailoring data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data, resumes, tailored versions, and associated content within 30 days, except where records such as transaction history must be retained for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Request a portable copy of your data

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, row-level database access controls, and restricted access to production systems. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Resumeize is operated from India. Our service providers may store or process data in other countries, including the United States. By using the Service, you consent to transferring your information to locations that may have different data protection laws from your home country.

The Service is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can delete it.
