Terms of Service

Resumeize is an AI-powered resume-tailoring platform. Users provide a resume and job description, and the Service generates analysis, compatibility scores, and a tailored resume, together with templates, cover-letter generation, exports, and an application tracker.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Resumeize, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the resume and personal information you submit. Resumeize is designed to reorganize, rephrase, and strengthen the presentation of your genuine experience. It does not and will not knowingly fabricate job titles, employers, dates, credentials, or metrics you have not provided.

You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before use and ensuring it accurately reflects your qualifications and experience. Any misrepresentation to a prospective employer using content generated through the Service is your responsibility.

• Free Plan: A limited number of tailoring credits each month, as described on our Pricing page.
• Pro Plan: Monthly or annual subscriptions providing unlimited tailoring and full feature access, billed automatically until cancelled.
• Credit Packs: One-time purchases that provide a fixed number of additional credits and do not expire unless stated otherwise.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method until cancellation. You may cancel through Account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for the remaining period unless required by applicable law.

Prices are listed in United States dollars (USD) and may change with reasonable notice.

Subscription and credit-pack payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@resumeize.com within seven days of the charge so we can review it.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or knowingly false representations of your qualifications
• Attempt to circumvent credit limits, rate limits, or subscription tiers through technical means
• Use automated tools to scrape, abuse, or overload the Service
• Upload unlawful, defamatory, harmful, or rights-infringing content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without written permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You retain all rights to the resume content and information you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service. We retain all rights to the Resumeize platform, branding, design, and underlying technology.

Tailored resumes, cover letters, and scores are AI-generated suggestions intended to assist you. We do not guarantee interview invitations, job offers, or particular scores from any employer's applicant tracking system, as those systems vary and are outside our control.

The Service relies on third-party providers for payment processing, hosting and database infrastructure, and AI processing. We are not responsible for outages or issues originating with those providers, though we make reasonable efforts to maintain reliability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resumeize and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost employment opportunities arising from use of the Service. The Service is provided “as is” without express or implied warranties.

You may delete your account at any time through Account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice at our discretion.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts with jurisdiction over the operator's registered location in India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to applicable consumer-protection law.
