Terms of Service

Resumeize is an AI-powered resume-tailoring platform. Users provide a resume and job description, and the Service generates analysis, compatibility scores, and a tailored resume, together with templates, cover-letter generation, exports, and an application tracker.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Resumeize, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the resume and personal information you submit. Resumeize is designed to reorganize, rephrase, and strengthen the presentation of your genuine experience. It does not and will not knowingly fabricate job titles, employers, dates, credentials, or metrics you have not provided.

You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before use and ensuring it accurately reflects your qualifications and experience. Any misrepresentation to a prospective employer using content generated through the Service is your responsibility.

• Free credits: Every new account receives 1 free credit once at signup, once per email address: an account deleted and opened again with the same address does not get another. Checking a resume's score is free.
• Credits: One credit is one job application. The credit is used when tailoring of that application starts (or, for an application that was not tailored with a credit, at its first PDF or Word download) and covers its tailored resume, AI line rewrites, cover letter, interview prep and every PDF and Word download. If the tailored draft fails before anything is downloaded, the credit is returned.
• Credit Packs: One-time purchases of a single credit or a pack. Credits never expire. There is no subscription and no card is kept on file.
• AI resume builder: Building a resume is free. The finished resume is a one-time purchase per resume that saves it to your account with PDF and Word downloads and includes 1 tailoring credit, added once when the payment is confirmed.

For customers in India, payments are processed by Razorpay in Indian rupees: Single application 1 credit ₹99, Starter 5 credits ₹399, Job Search 15 credits ₹899, Full Search Pass 40 credits ₹1,799, and a finished AI-built resume ₹149. For customers outside India, payments are processed by PayPal in US dollars: Single application 1 credit $4.99, Starter 5 credits $19, Job Search 15 credits $39, Full Search Pass 40 credits $79, and a finished AI-built resume $6. The prices shown are the final amounts charged. Prices may change with reasonable notice; a purchase is always honoured at the price it was made at.

We want billing to be fair and transparent. The following policy applies to all purchases:

• Duplicate or erroneous charges: If you were charged twice for the same purchase, or charged in error, contact us and we will refund the duplicate or erroneous payment in full.
• Unused credits: Unused credits are refundable within 7 days of purchase. Request a refund from Account settings; we review each request and refund the unused part through the original payment method.
• Used credits: Credits already used for an application are not refundable.
• Deleted accounts: Deleting your account does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Please request any refund before deleting your account.

Refunds are issued through the same payment provider used for the original purchase (Razorpay for India, PayPal for international customers) and may take several business days to appear depending on the provider and your bank. If a payment is reversed, refunded, or charged back, the credits it granted may be revoked; unused credits granted by that payment are removed first.

To request a refund, email support@resumeize.com from the email address associated with your account, and include the date and amount of the charge.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or knowingly false representations of your qualifications
• Attempt to circumvent credit limits or rate limits through technical means
• Use automated tools to scrape, abuse, or overload the Service
• Upload unlawful, defamatory, harmful, or rights-infringing content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without written permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Blog comments. Comments are public and posted under the name you enter. Don’t post anyone’s contact details or private information, adverts, links, or abusive content. You’re responsible for what you post; we may hide or remove any comment, and reactions or views that look automated may not be counted.

You retain all rights to the resume content and information you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service. We retain all rights to the Resumeize platform, branding, design, and underlying technology.

Tailored resumes, cover letters, and scores are AI-generated suggestions intended to assist you. We do not guarantee interview invitations, job offers, or particular scores from any employer's applicant tracking system, as those systems vary and are outside our control.

The Service relies on third-party providers for payment processing, hosting and database infrastructure, and AI processing. We are not responsible for outages or issues originating with those providers, though we make reasonable efforts to maintain reliability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resumeize and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost employment opportunities arising from use of the Service. The Service is provided “as is” without express or implied warranties.

You may delete your account at any time through Account settings. When you delete your account, your personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Purchases already made are not refunded on account deletion except as described in our Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice at our discretion.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts with jurisdiction over the operator's registered location in India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to applicable consumer-protection law.
