How does Resumeize tailor my resume?

It extracts the requirements from the job description, maps them against your actual experience, then reorders, reframes, and rewords your existing content so the most relevant evidence appears where it matters. It works only from what you provide.

How does the ATS score work?

The ATS score reflects how well your resume matches the job on the mechanical signals applicant-tracking software relies on: keyword and skill coverage, section structure, and parseable formatting. The requirement checklist is generated once per tailoring session and reused for every later re-check, so repeat scores stay consistent unless your resume text actually changes.

What is the recruiter read score?

It is a separate score for the human read: whether your strongest, most relevant evidence lands in the first skim, whether bullets show outcomes, and whether the resume reads clearly. A resume can score well with software and still be hard for a person to scan, which is why the two scores are shown separately.

Does Resumeize invent experience or skills?

No. Job titles, employers, dates, credentials, and metrics are never fabricated. If the job asks for something your resume does not show, Resumeize flags the gap and asks you to confirm it with truthful detail in your own words before it is added.

Can I edit the tailored resume?

Yes. Every tailored resume opens in an editor and stays fully editable before export. Nothing is a locked, black-box output, and each saved state is kept as a version you can look back at.

Yes. Tailored resumes can be exported as PDF or DOCX using any of the ATS-safe templates.

What are tailoring credits?

One credit covers one tailoring run: the analysis, the scores, and the tailored resume for a given role. Editing, re-scoring, and exporting that resume afterwards do not cost additional credits.

Does re-running the same resume and job use another credit?

Accepted Answer

No. Re-running the same resume against the same job doesn't use another credit. A credit is taken only once a finished tailored resume has been saved, so a refresh, a retry, or reopening your browser never charges you twice.

What happens when I run out of credits?

You keep full access to everything you have already created — your resumes, tailored versions, scores, and tracker. To tailor for a new role you can either buy a one-time credit pack or upgrade to Pro.

Do unused credits expire?

Both give identical access. Annual is billed once a year and works out around 20% cheaper per month; monthly is billed each month and can be cancelled at any time.

Which payment methods are supported?

In India, payments are processed by Razorpay, which supports cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets. Outside India, payments are processed by PayPal.

How does pricing work in India?

Indian customers are billed in rupees through Razorpay: ₹999 per month or ₹9,590 per year for Pro, and ₹499 for a five-credit pack.

How does pricing work outside India?

International customers are billed in US dollars through PayPal: $19 per month or $182 per year for Pro, and $9 for a five-credit pack. Your country is detected automatically, so the price and payment method you see are the ones that apply to you.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel from Account settings at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals.

What happens after I cancel?

You keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account moves back to the free plan. Your resumes, tailored versions, and tracker stay in your account.

How do refunds work?

Subscription and credit-pack payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you think you were charged in error, email support@resumeize.com within seven days of the charge and we will review it. If a refund or reversal is processed, the related Pro access or credits are removed automatically.

What happens to the resume I upload?

It is stored in your account so you can reuse it for future applications. Only you can read it — access rules on the database restrict every resume, tailored version, and cover letter to the account that created it.

Is my resume sold or shared?

No. Your resume is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising. It is used to provide the service to you.

How is my resume processed by AI?

Analysis and tailoring run on the server, never in your browser, and your resume and job description text are sent to the AI models Resumeize uses for that request. The inputs are not used to train those models.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete your account from Account settings. Deletion removes your account and its content, and any active subscription is cancelled as part of the process.

How long is my data kept?

Your content is kept while your account is open and removed when you delete it. Records of payments are retained for the period required for tax and accounting purposes.

Which file formats can I upload?

PDF, DOCX, and plain text. You can also paste your resume directly into the app instead of uploading a file.

Yes — the whole app works on mobile, including uploading a resume. Editing a long resume is generally more comfortable on a larger screen.

My payment succeeded but my account hasn't updated. What should I do?

Confirmations arrive from the payment provider and are usually applied within a minute or two; refreshing Account settings normally shows the change. If it still has not updated, email support@resumeize.com with the payment reference and we will apply it manually.
