The short version

Choose Jobscan if you want LinkedIn profile optimisation, tips for the specific applicant-tracking system an employer uses, interview practice or auto-apply, and you are happy with a subscription.

Choose Teal if you are mainly organising a search: its free plan includes unlimited resumes and job tracking, and its browser extension saves jobs from dozens of job boards.

Choose Resumeize if you want to tailor a resume for each application without a subscription, pay in rupees or dollars only for the applications you tailor, and be sure nothing appears in your resume that you didn’t write or confirm.

Where Jobscan is stronger

  • LinkedIn. Its LinkedIn tool scores your profile’s headline, summary and experience against at least three job descriptions and can draft a headline and summary. Resumeize has nothing for LinkedIn.
  • Employer-specific ATS tips. Enter the company and job link and Jobscan can often identify which applicant-tracking system the employer uses, then tailors its advice to it.
  • More of the job search in one place: a job tracker, AI interview practice, a job matcher and Auto Apply, where you review each application before it’s sent.
  • Career services. Jobscan offers an organisations product for career-services teams.

Where Resumeize is different

You pay per application, once. The score and gap questions are free. One credit tailors one job application: the tailored resume, cover letter, interview prep and PDF/Word downloads in any of 20 layouts, downloaded as often as you like. Your first application is free. Packs are 1 for ₹99 or $4.99, 5 for ₹399 or $19, 15 for ₹899 or $39, 40 for ₹1,799 or $79, and credits never expire.

Every match quotes your resume. When a requirement is marked matched, you see the sentence that proves it, and that quote is checked against your resume word for word, so a match can’t rest on a line you never wrote.

Nothing is invented. For each gap you are asked a short question. A new line enters your resume only from your own words or an answer you confirmed, and every line the AI writes is fact-checked against your original, so it can’t add a figure, name or tool you never gave. Read how the checks and scores work.

Two scores, with published weights. An ATS score for how software reads and matches your file, and a recruiter score for what a person takes from a quick skim of page one. Both are calculated in code, so the same resume scored against the same requirement list always gets the same numbers.

Resume Worded, briefly

Resume Worded scores a resume out of 100 for free and lists the top issues holding it down, and you can re-upload and re-score as often as you like. Its Targeted Resume tool compares your resume with a posting, and it also reviews LinkedIn profiles. Deeper line-by-line feedback and its rewriting tools are part of the paid product. We couldn’t confirm its prices from its own pages, so they aren’t listed here.

What we left out

Jobscan’s plan prices and the number of free scans per month are shown inside its app, and we couldn’t read them from a public page, so this comparison doesn’t state them. Check its pricing page before you decide. If anything here is out of date, tell us at support@resumeize.com and we’ll correct it.

Questions people ask

Is there a free alternative to Jobscan?
Several tools have a free tier. On Resumeize, checking a resume against a posting and seeing its score are free; one credit tailors one job application (the tailored resume, cover letter, interview prep and PDF/Word downloads), and your first application is free. Jobscan also has a free plan with a monthly allowance of scans.
Does Resumeize have a subscription?
No. It sells one-time credits (1 for ₹99 or $4.99, 5 for ₹399 or $19, 15 for ₹899 or $39, 40 for ₹1,799 or $79). Credits never expire, no card is kept on file and there is nothing to cancel. Unused credits are refundable within 7 days of purchase.
Is Jobscan better for LinkedIn?
Yes. Jobscan has a LinkedIn optimisation tool that scores your profile against job descriptions and suggests keywords, Teal's pricing page lists a LinkedIn profile review and summary generator, and Resume Worded offers LinkedIn feedback too. Resumeize works on your resume and cover letter only and has no LinkedIn tool.
Can I pay in rupees?
On Resumeize, yes: Indian customers pay in rupees through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking and wallets), from ₹99 for a single application (₹399 for 5). Jobscan's help centre says all its subscription charges are processed in US dollars.
Which tool gives the most accurate ATS score?
No outside tool can see the score a particular employer's system gives you, because each employer configures its own. What a checker can do is show which of the posting's requirements your resume proves and how cleanly your file reads. Resumeize publishes its scoring weights so you can see exactly what moved a number.
